It's a okay place to go for something to eat and drink if you're in or from the local area. I went with my partner who used a Dining for 2 voucher and we were expected on arrival so the manager knew who we were and had the reservation ready for us. He kindly showed us to our table. The food was nice and we got a free glass of champagne with our meal. The food had flavour and was cooked nicely. Recommend
Nice venue, although cramped in the Resteraunt area. Food very average - it is what it is. The vegetable portion ratio according to the (I'm assuming) head waiter was ample ??? Definitely no where near adequate regarding the carrot and swede mash, yet he would not let us have more. Crackers were rubbish there is no advocate sold at all .. Been here for the last couple of years for Xmas club dinner. Giving it a miss next year..
We had a voucher for 2 courses. The food was well presented and very delicious. We went with 4 adults and 1 child. They had highchairs available with kids menus and kids colouring. Great service and lovely food with reasonable prices
This place looks like a back street drinking house.... And yes you can drink there!! But.... Inside is a warm welcome.... The bar isn't the prettiest, but the restaurant had been well laid out with Good furniture and lots of space.We ate in the bar area. Both our meals were brought quickly but they were freshly cooked and VERY tasty.... Hot too.Didn't have a dessert but I did see a few being taken to tables and they looked tasty.Staff were really good.Altogether a great experience.... Once inside.... Don't be put off by the looks!(don't judge a Cookbook by its cover, eh?)
If you are flying from Luton airport then this is a great place to stop for refreshments and/or food. Much better than the facilities in the airport and only a 5 minute drive away. The staff are very friendly, the choice of food is excellent and the quality too! There is a decent size car park opposite (free).
