Done a great job on the refurbishment good afternoon
Came to Luton for friends birthday and we thought we will have a nice time out at this bowling place. To start with they had no food. Everything we wanted to order they said they cannot make because theyre changing oil in their fryers. We had to go and get food from downstairs.While waiting at the bar for 5mins to get some drinks the bartenders were on their phones and when asked if we can get served they had the time to finish what they were doing on the phone.The service at the bar was slow all the other times we came back for more drinks. The bowling lane broke down. The workers has managed to forget about it , we had to go back to remind them about it and it took them 10-15mins to start fixing it. Never coming back here.
My friends and me waited 45 miniutes for them to set up our lanes. During which we swapped with another group as their lane was switched as well. I had to constantly go up to the front desk as they seemed to forget about us. We had already paid and they refused to acknowledge the time they had taken from us. The manager should be sacked as we saw him only once during our time and he did not interact or apologies for the waste of our time. As a result we had to change our plans not eating at nandos as we intended to. Overall i am very disappointed and advice not to go here unless you have booked or go early on in the day as around the evening it is a hassle. Though we had problems we did not let it ruin our time however it very nearly did.
There were constant issues setting up our lanes totalling around 20 minutes of wait time at the beginning with kids waiting (also took almost as long to get drinks at the bar) One lane could play, the other jammed, took a further 20 minutes to sort out. Many issues with the gutter, we fetched people six times to fix it on the kids lane. Manager BRIAN dragged his feet, was rude to the group and refused any refund. Do not visit and ruin your family's weekend, will be escalating.
Great experience - really enjoyed bowling so did the kids, we played on the arcade machines and had some food. My first time here but I will back, I recommend this place.
