The entire experience from when my brother in law passed away to the day of his funeral was handled with the best care, support, understanding, professionalism but most importantly the level of respect shown by the entire team from both locations, In Luton and Dunstable was beyond what we expected. They made everything much easier to process during such a difficult time, Chole, Veronica, John require a special mention as they were the ones we communicated with the most to help with my brother in law Jimmy's funeral at the Luton Branch, my cousin was very grateful as they helped her with every aspect she was worried about as she was organising everything and the team supported her through each and every step, They were very supportive and made the experience feel as if it was their own family they were preparing to say good bye too.We weren't prepared to see our loved one in the chapel of rest but the room and the way they had everything was so peaceful and homely...it was a very private experience.... it wasn't a case of going to a place and dreading what you will see or experience around you .... it was a very calming, peaceful but most importantly respectful manner with how everything was handled and prepared for us to make all the funeral arrangements and our final good byes easier to process, at the time you don't really appreciate just how much the team are trying to make things run smoothly for us but its only looking back you can see just how hard they worked. They hold family morals and value the importance of different cultures to be just as important to them as it is to the family who are going through bereavement it would be very mean to mark them down by 1 star because of the parking because that was the only issue we faced with the Luton Branch but they were very kind enough on the day of the funeral to do everything they could to make things easier for everyone. Another negative was the music system at the crematorium not being able to play the CD but this was rectified, only mentioning these two things as example that even though on the day different things came up the team took responsibility to help smooth everything out and why i'm sticking to my 5 star rating, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone considering that although funeral's do cost a lot of money, what you're spending this team at both the Dunstable and Luton Branch will make sure everything is handled in the best possible way to reflect this, they make sure you're loved one is given the final Good Bye you want to give them and can't thank them enough.
Totally amazing people, Veronika done everything that she could possibly do for to make everything as special as it needed to be for my son xx
The most caring people. Absolutely fantastic customer service all the way through would definitely recommend.
a very professional service and we could not fault anything. We have used Shires twice and have always had an excellent service.
Absolutely fantastic service from this company, 24 hour support even at weekends. Well led by their management, they couldn't do enough for us and were professional and immaculately turned out at all times. Great silver cars too, which I haven't seen before. No hesitation in recommending this company for someone looking for a personal touch. Well done guys!!
