Big shout out to Patrick, very helpful informative. Fitted my bulbs, at the store late before close, quickly with no struggle.
I bought a brand new car from which the number plates were removed and my cherished number plate was added. I retained the original plates for when I sold the car. I am now in process of selling car and went to Halfords with the appropriate paperwork and the old number plates and asked for them to be changed over to be told this was not a service they provided unless the number plates were purchased from them. Why would i purchase new number plates when I had a set in the boot of the car which had only been on the car from factory and were in pristine condition. They mentioned about not being able to verify the quality unless they made them - but I truly believe this was a pure jobsworth!. So went to the local garage and a lovely gentleman helped the damsal in distress for the price of a pint of beer. Halfords have lost another customer.
Staff are an honest to god joke. Worst customer service I've experienced, especially the front desk guys.
Zero stars, the shop is fine but like a lot of the reviews here staff either ignore you or aren't helpful or impolite, treat this as a shop, you need to know what you need, avoid if you need help or advise on whats needed for your car (Halford's is still my preferred retailer just not the Luton shop)
Popped in to buy a headlight bulb and get it fitted. Didn't get there until 7:20pm. Was really impressed with the level of service. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful. After helping me select the correct bulb, he passed me straight on to their fitter, who had me on my way in no time.Would recommend the fitting service to anyone.
