I have always found the staff to be most helpful and courteous. Dr Ahmed had been an excellent addition to a practice that obviously had so much to cope with.

I believe people leaving only 1 star because they cant get through on the phone or cant get an appointment on the same day is unfair as this is down to the sheer number of patients they have rather than incompetence, and its the same for every GP surgery! Personally, Ive always been able to get an appointment the same day. The reception staff are polite and helpful and speak to you with respect, which is not the experience I have had with the previous surgery my family was registered with, which goes a long way to making the visit to the surgery more bearable.Im glad I changed over to this surgery, and anyone reading this review whos currently registered with what used to be Kingfisher that is now Castle Medical and thinking about changing, DO IT!

Ridiculous from start to finish. Firstly, I couldn't get an appointment for my sick baby for almost a week. Eventually I decided to get my kids to school an hour early and drag my sick baby to the doctors only to sit there with her for an hour to be able to make an appointment with a doctor. She screamed the whole time, obviously. Even though I was third in line and had a good chance of seeing a doctor, they forced me to see the nurse, assuring me that she can deal with whatever illness my baby has. The appointment was late afternoon. The nurse downplayed my baby's illness but did give me a prescription which I was to wait for at the reception as it had to be signed by the doctor. After twenty minutes of sitting there, my baby has had enough. I stood at the reception desk wanting to speak to staff but I was ignored. Eventually, I had to leave deciding that I'll call them. Bad mistake. I have been on hold for 40 minutes and then they cut me off. The surgery shut for the weekend without giving me my prescription. On Sunday, my baby got so unwell I had to take her to a&e only to be told that she has tonsillitis and bronchitis and needs treatment immediately. I changed my gp immediately and I am happy now.

Nice GP , Doctors are very helpful and a well maintained hospital , Senior doctors are good when compared with receptionists and nurses.

The receptionists are some of the worst GP staff I've ever met. They lost my forms twice so I couldn't transfer over my medical details because they hadn't registered me, so I've been waiting months to get my details registered so my GP can go over my medical history and help me with the issue I'm having. I still have not been registered and they do not pick up the phones. It says phone lines are busy but I've been first in the queue for half an hour and no-one has picked up yet, which makes me think they're being incompetent and don't answer phones. The GP's aren't great either - got the wrong diagnosis and paid for medicine that did nothing, so I have to book another temporary patient appointment and waste MORE time filling out more forms for them to lose again, and getting more prescriptions that I'll be wasting money on and still not getting better. Terrible GP service, will be changing to a different one. Please hire more educated staff, because the ones working there now are a joke.
