Efficiently run place, good staff attitude, clean rooms, decent breakfast. Improvement would be to maintain polite and professional demeanour at all time especially senior members of the team.
The Hotel is close to Luton Airport and only a short walk to the shuttle bus stop, or another not much longer walk to the airport. The Hotel is basic but clean. The door to the shower in our room would not close properly and the TV had distorted sound. There is no reception as such, just a member of the bar staff checks you in and gives you a door key, ours didn't work at first and needed to be changed. However for a one night booking it was OK as it is close to the Airport about a 10 minute walk The shuttle bus runs 24 hours. The Hotel has a small bar and restaurant. There are no telephones in the rooms and no fridges, but there is a kettle and coffee and tea bags. There is also an Ibis Budget Hotel close by so don't mix the two. If you use the shuttle bus from the train station get off at the first stop outside Holiday Inn Express Hotel, it is then a short walk down a hill.
Wonderful staff. Very clean and neat. Complimentary tea and coffee as per usual with Ibis.Just a 10 minute walk from the airport. So worth it for a night close to the airport and so silent despite being right next to the airport.Highly recommend it.
The location is excellent for the airport. I stayed overnight and gave myself 20 minutes (needing 15 minutes) to walk to the terminal entrance. My room was good enough to get to sleep easily, but my early flight meant I wasn't able to try the breakfast.
Good place to stay before your flight. Comfy bed and good size shower. The breakfast was tasty enough even for kids. We recommend Ibis London Luton Airport
