I turn up to collect my car, and go to pay using the card that I used for my online booking they would not accept it! They tell me at the counter I needed a credit card, I dont have my credit card with me as I assumed the card I used to make the booking would be fine, at no stage during the booking did their website say I needed a credit card! I explained to the staff that I dont have a credit card and they say there is nothing they can do. I know this is not the desk staffs fault but who ever designed the online booking system as they should not accept booking with a card that you cant you on arrival, I am extremely disappointed with this experience of Sixt and would not recommend them as they basically left me stranded!!
