I joined this practice a little over a year ago thinking it would good as it's modern and has a chemist next door. It is one of the worst surgery's I have ever known with all area's very poor rating you can never get an appointment either by phone or ask your doctor on line or even being 1st in que in person. Trouble is I am now stuck here and can not change to another surgery as they are not taking new patients
I had to ring 76 times to get through this morning, only to be put on hold for 25min and then to be told that there is no appointments. My bloods came back abnormal but only qualify for doctor call in 2 weeks!!! Awful experience, I do NOT recommend this surgery!!
Really difficult to get an appointment, get told to ask online then they message me saying I have a phone appointment I can't take personal calls at work I'm a teacher. Receptionist was very dismissive when I phoned to explain. I have difficulty phoning in the morning as I am at work by 8am. I need to see a doctor but seems I will have to try another practice. It has gone right downhill of late and now even lovely nurse Anne has left. it
We have been registered with this medical facility since 2007 and used to be very happy with the services provided. However since they had a merge with Castle Medical Practice things have been really bad.No appointments available, overworked receptionists and no desire to help. We called them today cause our lithle boy has a suspected chicken pox and they asked us to go to the pharmacy store.. This is why we pay our monthly contribution to NHS? Absolutely frustrated..No difference than a third world country in terms of service..
If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The reception staff here are the rudest I think I have ever come across. They dont listen and they speak over you, so when you speak louder they then accuse you of shouting. I literally live a stone's throw and am now changing because this doctors does not cater for the everyday working individual. The doctors and nurses are fantastic but the reception staff (I think I'm more important than I am) let the whole place down. If you can't cope with the pressure then give the job to someone who can.
